Activity

• Production of demanding welded components for gas turbines as well as partially for aerospace according to drawings and technical specifications
• Manual WIG/TIG welding of nickel-based alloys, stainless steel and Inconel alloys
• Welding work on robotic systems as well as on circular and longitudinal welding machines
• Performing orbital and spot welding work
• Creating, documenting and updating work papers and welding instructions
• Recording and reporting operating data
• Performing general tinsmithing work such as grinding, straightening and bending
• Ensuring high quality and timely production
• Requirements
• Completed vocational training as a Plant and Apparatus Builder or a comparable technical training
• Further training in the field of welding is an advantage
• Welder examinations according to EN ISO 9606-4 is an advantage
• Sound practical experience in WIG/TIG welding is an advantage
• Independent, careful and responsible way of working
• Enjoyment of demanding and technically challenging welding work
• Reliability, flexibility and resilience
• Willingness to work in early and late shifts
• Good German language skills
