Your tasks

During your 4-year apprenticeship, you will work at various locations such as on construction sites, in commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or residential buildings.

• laying cables, connecting sockets, switches, and control boxes
• installing and commissioning electrical devices and systems
• installing components for building automation systems
• installing lighting and connecting electrical appliances
• connecting photovoltaic systems and e-mobility systems
• installing communication and data networks
• installing safety technology systems such as fire alarm systems or emergency lighting
• finding and rectifying faults
• testing and commissioning electrical systems
