Polymechanic – Assembly, Production and Metrology (80–100 %)

DIAVITE AG has specialized in the manufacture of tactile and optical roughness measurement devices for over 64 years. At our location in Bülach ZH, we rely on the highest quality in the manufacture and assembly of our measuring devices. In addition, we offer our customers comprehensive repair, service and support services.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality as a Polymechanic EFZ or with comparable technical basic training (m/f/d) immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks:

• Conventional turning, milling and drilling work
• Manufacture of individual parts and customer-specific components in very small series
• Goods receipt and quality inspection of mechanical and electrical components
• Inspection of components based on technical drawings and tolerance specifications
• Assembly of measuring devices, feed units and roughness probes
• Carrying out functional controls and quality inspections
• Repair and service work
• Creation, adaptation and maintenance of technical drawings and documentation
• Collaboration in the optimization of components, fixtures and processes
• Further development of conventional production towards CNC machining
• Coordination of assembly orders and monitoring of deadlines
• Support in the areas of goods receipt, warehouse, picking and shipping

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Polymechanic EFZ or comparable technical basic training
• Initial experience in metrology, quality assurance or quality inspection
• High fine motor skills and enjoyment of precise work
• Practical knowledge in conventional turning and milling
• Confident reading and interpreting of technical drawings
• Basic knowledge in electrical engineering and electronics is an advantage
• Experience in soldering is an advantage
• CNC and CAD knowledge is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and careful way of working
• Good technical understanding and enjoyment of practical problem solving
• Initiative and willingness to take on responsibility
