CNC Mechanic - Prototype Construction (Apprentice Graduate)

Your task:

• Setting up and supervising highly complex milled components as well as independently implementing process-relevant changes.
• Continuous optimization of milling processes in close cooperation with the internal CAM programming.
• Demanding manufacturing on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centers with Heidenhain TNC640 control.
• Loading and prioritizing prototype, individual, and small series parts using the latest robot technology.
• Full responsibility for the accuracy of the components as well as monitoring the complete production process.
• Coordination of the entire process, from material ordering to the quality control of the workpieces.
• Ensuring optimal utilization of machine run times through use in a regulated 2-shift operation.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a Polymechaniker EFZ or a comparable technical qualification.
• Initial experience in the independent operation of 5-axis machines.
• Initial knowledge of Heidenhain control, whereby specific experience with the TNC640 version represents a great advantage.
• Strong quality awareness paired with a very independent, systematic, and exact working methodology.
• Fluent German skills for daily work; additional English skills are an advantage.
