Tooling Workshop Mechanic M/F

Job mission: Manufacture of engraving cutters, drills and various tools for the machine park

Skills: Execute tasks with care, conscience and responsibility

Main tasks:

• Preparation of tools before cutting and sharpening
• Creation of programs on Virtual Grind Pro (Rollomatic software)
• Machine and grinding wheel setup
• Control and adjustment of tool dimensions
• Starting tool series
• In-process controls
• Machine maintenance
• Dressing of grinding wheels
• Preparation and manufacture of fixtures on conventional or CNC machines for internal use (drilling, crimping, polishing)
• Workshop maintenance

Control tasks:

• Ensure machining quality
• Find a balance between quality and tool consumption
• Immediately inform the supervisor in case of breakdown or malfunction of the work tool

Organization:

• Use of appropriate tools
• Report potential improvements to machining cycles
• Leave work area clean in case of machine change and at the end of the day
• Be mobile on different machines depending on production needs
