Automation Technician for electromechanical repairs on locomotives

Activity

• Carry out electrical and electronic repairs as well as maintenance on locomotives at various locations
• Locate and rectify errors and malfunctions with the help of technical documentation and diagnostic systems
• Create work reports and write electrotechnical documentation
• Document technical changes to machines and update schematics
• Assemble, test and overhaul electrical components and modules according to technical specifications
• Requirements
• Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electrical fitter, mechatronics technician or electromechanical technician
• Sound experience in electromechanical repair and service work
• Knowledge in the creation and adaptation of electrical schematics, ideally with EPLAN and ELCAD
• Willingness to work flexible hours and demand-oriented deployment
• Valid driving license category B and confident IT user skills, especially MS Office
