Qualified & Versatile All-round Handyman & Moving Assistant

Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and versatile All-round Handyman & Moving Assistant to strengthen our team.
This position includes performing various maintenance and installation tasks as well as providing support during private and commercial moves. A high level of commitment, excellent technical understanding, and professional interaction with customers are essential for this position.

Main Tasks
Handyman Activities

• Professional assembly and disassembly of furniture.
• Professional assembly and installation of furniture.
• Execution of general maintenance and installation work.
• Safe and efficient handling of hand and power tools.

Moving Tasks (Private and Office Moves)

• Support in packing, loading and unloading, as well as the transport of household and office furniture.
• Disassembly and professional reassembly of furniture during moves.
• Careful protection and safe handling of sensitive and valuable items.
• Close cooperation with the team to complete moves on schedule.
• Friendly and professional customer service on site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven professional experience in furniture assembly, as a handyman, or in moving services is mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of furniture assembly as well as safe handling of tools and work equipment is essential.
• Good physical fitness and endurance as well as the ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely.
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and safe working methods.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Valid Swiss work permit.
• Valid Swiss driving license category B.
• Good English skills are required; German and/or French are an advantage.
• Reliability, punctuality, trustworthiness, and a professional appearance.
• Residency near the employer is an advantage.
