What you can contribute

• Versatilely perform maintenance work on bridge systems as well as on other engineering equipment
• Manufacture parts, custom-made realizations and mechanical devices as well as establish technical documentation
• Machine and maintain military engagement and instruction equipment in synthetic, metal and wood
• Advise, accompany and monitor customers (troops and third parties) during handovers and returns regarding road safety, accident prevention, maintenance, cleaning and inventory of vehicles
• Document work performed, ensure quality controls and contribute to compliance with safety regulations

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic CFC, agricultural machinery mechanic CFC, construction machinery mechanic CFC or equivalent mechanical training
• Professional experience in mechanical manufacturing and maintenance, ideally in the field of machinery, installations or military equipment
• Good knowledge in working with synthetic materials, notably polyester and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP), as well as experience in working with metal and wood and with conventional machines
• Autonomous, structured and quality-oriented way of working, manual dexterity and good technical understanding
• Team spirit, reliability and flexibility as well as willingness to work versatilely in different specialized areas
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language and pleasure in being in contact with customers (troops and third parties)

In this function, you work on varied systems in the field of engineering equipment and bridges, with a particular focus on work related to polyester and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP). You combine manual dexterity and mechanical tasks and are primarily responsible for maintenance according to the rules of the art. If you like practical work, have a strong interest in working with synthetic materials and polyester and attach great importance to quality, an exciting and varied working environment awaits you.
