Welder

For our valued customer in Biel and the surrounding area, we are looking for a welder / metalworker (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

As an experienced welder, your versatile daily work mainly includes the following tasks:

• General welding work: Independent execution of qualitative welding work (MAG, TIG/WIG, manual metal arc) according to plan in the workshop as well as during installation.
• Steel and metal construction: Manufacturing, assembly and professional installation of constructions, stairs, railings, doors or steel frames directly on site.
• Preparation & post-processing: Preparing the workpieces (cutting, tack welding, grinding) as well as careful post-processing and grinding of the weld seams.
• Repairs & maintenance: Carrying out service work, repair work and adjustments to existing metal constructions.
• Quality control: Independent inspection of the weld seams and workpieces for dimensional accuracy and optical quality according to specifications.
• Customer contact: Friendly and competent handling of customers during installation and service assignments on site.

Your profile:

• Education: Successfully completed vocational training as a metalworker, welder or a comparable training (with corresponding welding certificates / tests according to ISO).
• Professional experience: Ideally, you already bring several years of practice in welding (preferably WIG/MAG) and in steel construction (motivated recent graduates are also welcome).
• Way of working: You work exactly, reliably, quality-conscious and appreciate both precise workshop work and independent hands-on work on the construction site.
• Driving license: Valid driving license Cat. B.
• Language skills: Good oral German skills (French skills in speaking and writing are a big plus for the Biel region).
