To meet the regular needs of our exceptional industrial partners located in the Vallée de Joux as well as in the Nord vaudois sector, we are looking for a passionate and rigorous CNC Setter (M/F).

CNC Setter Mechanic (M/F)

Your mission:

• Setting and startup: Setting, equipping and preparing numerically controlled machine tools (milling, turning, Swiss-type turning) according to setting sheets and manufacturing orders.
• Reading plans: Autonomous interpretation of manufacturing plans, technical data sheets and high-precision geometric dimensions.
• Machining and production monitoring: Starting production runs, adjusting cutting parameters and correcting tool gauging in order to ensure optimal production.
• Quality control: Rigorous self-control of produced parts using conventional and optical measuring instruments, guaranteeing strict compliance with applicable tolerances.
• First-level maintenance: Routine maintenance of equipment, cleaning of workstations and reporting of technical malfunctions.

Your profile:

• Training: You hold a CFC in Precision Mechanic, Polymécanicien, Microtechnician or a title deemed equivalent.
• Experience: You have successful experience of at least 2 years in a similar position in industry (knowledge of the Swiss industrial landscape is a real asset).
• Technical skills: You are autonomous in reading plans, master the manipulation of control instruments and possess good notions of common programming languages.
• Soft skills: Analytical spirit, meticulousness, rigor and ability to integrate quickly into a team.

Conditions:

• Start date: To be agreed
• Contract type: Long-term mission.
