In order to complete its team, the Ville de Crissier is recruiting, for its infrastructure department, a position as an

road maintenance worker at 100%, attached to the "espaces verts" group

The voirie sector employs 15 employees, divided between the group concerned and the "espaces publics et urbains" group.

Your main missions

• Maintain green spaces: pruning of trees, shrubs and hedges, mowing and maintenance of grass surfaces, planting and maintenance of flower beds, monitoring of watering.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the public domain: waste management, emptying street bins, maintenance of public structures
• Participate in the winter maintenance of roads (salting and snow removal)
• Prepare, install and maintain equipment intended for communal events
• Maintain vehicles, tools and operational premises, and report any problem, failure or need for material and products
• Perform tasks related to funeral services as well as transport or small works for other services

Your profile

• CFC in horticulture-landscaping or training deemed equivalent
• Good knowledge of horticultural botany and perennial plants, knowledge of plant pests and diseases, interest in biodiversity and environmental issues
• Benefit of 5 years of professional experience in relation to the tasks assigned to the "espaces verts" group
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Holder of driving licenses category B and BE (trailer)
• Experience driving "communal" / road maintenance type vehicles
• Good level of spoken French

Special conditions

• Flexibility in working hours outside of standard working days and hours, in order to participate alternately in on-call services (winter, cleanliness and events)
• Residence close to the municipality due to constraints related to the work
