Production Mechanic (a)

Due to a growing order situation, we are looking for reinforcement in mechanical manufacturing for our customer, a service company with many years of experience in the planning and execution of software and hardware projects in all areas of industrial automation.

Tasks:

• You are responsible for the mechanical construction and assembly of control and switch cabinets.
• Independent processing of control cabinet housings, mounting plates, and sheet metal parts
• Setting up and operating the Steinhauer machining center
• Reading and implementing technical drawings and manufacturing documents
• Working according to EPLAN documents and 3D assembly plans
• Assembly of cable ducts, mounting rails, mounting plates, and other mechanical components
• Performing quality controls on manufactured parts and documenting the results to ensure the highest quality
• Support in the optimization of manufacturing processes and mechanical solutions
• Performing maintenance and repair work on production systems so that the machines are ready for use at all times
• If interested and suitable: Creating and adapting drawings with CAD program
• If interested and suitable: Support with assembly assignments at our customers

Requirements:

• A completed apprenticeship as a production mechanic, polymechanic, or an equivalent qualification to build on sound specialist knowledge
• Professional experience in mechanical manufacturing is an advantage, career starters are also welcome
• Good knowledge in reading technical drawings and handling precision measuring instruments to work accurately and independently
• Experience with CNC-controlled machines to safely implement complex manufacturing steps
• Manual dexterity as well as an exact, independent way of working
• Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interest in technical products
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
