About Cydonia Construction SA ##

Cydonia Construction SA, a general contractor based in Grand-Lancy and a member of Groupe Cydonia, accompanies the realization of residential real estate projects from our own development in French-speaking Switzerland.

As part of the development of our activities, we are strengthening our team and are looking for a Site Manager wishing to invest themselves in varied projects and evolve in a human-sized, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Your mission ##

Reporting to the company management, you ensure the operational management of your construction sites, from their preparation to their handover.

Your main responsibilities will notably include:

• Preparing and organizing construction sites in collaboration with the project teams;
• Planning and coordinating the interventions of companies and subcontractors;
• Ensuring the technical, administrative and financial monitoring of the works;
• Ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and quality requirements;
• Controlling the progress of the works and anticipating any potential difficulties;
• Participating in site meetings with the various stakeholders;
• Ensuring coordination with architects, representatives, companies and suppliers;
• Monitoring situations, measurements, additional works and accounts;
• Participating in the handovers of the works and the follow-up of the clearing of reservations;
• Ensuring compliance with safety rules as well as applicable norms and standards, notably SIA standards.

Your profile ##

Above all, we are looking for a reliable, autonomous and involved person, having a first successful experience in a general contracting company.

You ideally have: ###

• Engineering degree indispensable, ideally in the field of construction or Civil Engineering;
• 3 to 7 years of experience in site management mandatory, ideally in residential construction;
• Experience in a general contractor / total contractor company indispensable, ideally in Switzerland;
• Good knowledge in monitoring costs, deadlines and quality;
• A good mastery of SIA standards and construction practices in Switzerland is a plus;
• An established network with companies, subcontractors and representatives in the region is a real asset;
• An excellent mastery of French;
• A good mastery of standard IT tools.
