Job Positioning

Reporting directly to General Management.

Central Mission:

Structure and manage the works division of the general contracting company, ensuring both:

• operational management of construction sites
• realization of cost estimates and budgets

This position is evolvable towards Works Manager

Priority Objectives (first 12 months)

• Manage several operations autonomously.
• Plan works and coordinate different stakeholders.
• Organize and lead site meetings.
• Ensure technical, financial, and administrative follow-up of projects.
• Control costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.
• Establish financial forecasts and ensure margin monitoring.

Detailed Missions ##

Site Management:

• Manage several operations autonomously.
• Plan works and coordinate different stakeholders.
• Organize and lead site meetings.
• Ensure technical, financial, and administrative follow-up of projects.
• Control costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.
• Establish financial forecasts and ensure margin monitoring.
• Manage additional works and amendments.
• Validate situations and invoices from companies.
• Ensure handover of works, lifting of reservations, and follow-up of perfect completion.
• Establish regular reporting to Management.

Price Studies / Cost Estimation:

• Analyze tender dossiers.
• Perform measurements and quantities (CFC).
• Develop provisional budgets.
• Consult companies and negotiate offers.
• Perform comparative analyses.
• Research technical and economic variants.
• Participate in the development of commercial offers.
• Develop and maintain a price database.

Required Profile ##

Education:

• Site Manager
• ES Technician in site management
• Construction Engineer
• Or solid equivalent experience in a general contracting company

Confirmed Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a general contracting company in Switzerland.
• Solid experience in site management.
• Good mastery of price studies.
• Experience with several projects managed simultaneously.

Essential Technical Skills:

You master notably:

• SIA standards;
• CFC;
• Tenders and company contracts;
• Financial follow-up of operations;
• MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Mastery of MS Project, AutoCAD, Odoo is a real asset.
• Good knowledge of the Geneva economic fabric as well as a network of partner companies will be appreciated.

Salary: To be discussed based on experience.

Contract Type: Permanent contract (CDI) from 80% to 100% (to be agreed)
