What you can contribute

• Perform maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection work on all aircraft armament systems and equipment
• Prepare aircraft armament and remedy malfunctions in aircraft weapon systems
• Perform tasks related to flight operations, such as ensuring flight readiness, performing intermediate checks, as well as system repairs
• Ensure the replenishment and testing of aircraft ammunition of all types
• Guarantee the maintenance of systems, tooling, and test equipment

What makes you unique

• Technical/mechanical vocational training (CFC) and/or knowledge in the field of weapons technology is an asset; generalist profile with professional experience and affinity for aviation
• Category B driver's license required, C and E an asset; good computer skills (MS Office / SAP) desired
• Responsible, autonomous, precise working method oriented towards team and customer
• Good physical and mental resilience; positive result of the security background check for persons required
• Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (B1 level) desired

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes notably the Air Forces, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command, as well as the Military Police. Approximately 40 % of the some 2500 employees are employed in civilian roles, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
