Mason / Formwork Carpenter

We are looking for our customer in Schaffhausen:
2 Masons / Formwork Carpenters for structural engineering (concreting, creating masonry, formwork, etc.)
Masonry work in new construction and renovation

Prepare construction work

• Read construction plans
• Plan work steps with the construction management
• Set up and secure construction sites, for example, installing barriers and warning signs
• Check and store delivered material
• Create sketches for construction work

Execute construction work

• Prepare formwork, for example for foundations, support pillars or walls
• Create components from mortar, sealings and insulation and secure and reinforce them
• Deconstruct components, for example demolishing walls
• Lay pipes, for example for tap water, wastewater or gas
• Build walls with bricks and mortar and check with a chalk line and spirit level whether the walls are straight
• Prepare, pour and process concrete by hand or with machines
• Renovate old or damaged buildings
• Dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly and safe manner

Coordinate construction work

• Assign simple construction tasks in your own construction area to other team members
• Record completed construction work in reports and discuss them in the team
