What you will learn in your training

In the integration apprenticeship (INVOL) as a production mechanic, compressors that we manufacture in our production are created from individual parts and the associated plans with your help. You are part of the team and participate in order processing. After the one-year pre-apprenticeship, you can enter a three-year production mechanic apprenticeship EFZ (m/f/d) with good performance.

During the training, job-specific professional qualifications are imparted, which, with increasing duration, are oriented towards the operational work and business processes of the respective area of application.

• You will be trained in the handling of an industrial crane and work with it daily
• You will assist with simple assembly activities and learn to read and understand technical drawings
• Through the application of specialist knowledge in the German language, you will be excellently prepared for the production mechanic training
• You will prepare goods (individual parts) for the assembly of sub-assemblies
• Attendance at the vocational school in Zürich two days per week in the 1st semester and one day per week in the 2nd semester

What you bring with you

• Recognition as a refugee (Permit B/F) or as a provisionally admitted person (Permit F)
• You have the linguistic participation requirements of German oral B1 & written A2-B1
• You bring basic knowledge in mathematics, geometry and physics
• You have a technical understanding and manual dexterity
• You are interested in technology and want to get to know large machines from the inside
• You want to learn new things and are prepared to work independently and carefully
• You are between 18 and 40 years old
