Plastics Technologist

On behalf of our clients - a renowned pharmaceutical company from the Basel region - we are currently looking for a:

Plastics Apparatus Builder / Plastics Technician (m/f)

Main tasks:

• Custom manufacturing: You manufacture apparatus, containers and plant components from thermoplastics (e.g. PE, PP, PVC, PVDF).
• Welding technology: You master various welding processes such as hot gas extrusion welding, extrusion welding or heating element butt welding.
• Assembly & Service: Occasionally you support our team with assembly directly on site or carry out repairs on existing systems.
• Quality control: You work according to technical drawings and ensure that every weld seam and every dimension is perfect.

Qualifications

Desired profile:

• Education: Completed apprenticeship as a plastics apparatus builder, plastics technician or a comparable manual vocational training (e.g. pipe fitter with plastics experience).
• Manual dexterity: You have an eye for detail and work cleanly and in a structured manner.
• Reading competence: Technical drawings and isometrics are not a mystery to you.
• Team spirit: You are a reliable team player who keeps a cool head even in hectic phases.
