In order to strengthen our garage team and contribute to the reliability and availability of our fleet of vehicles and specialized equipment, we are looking for a: EXPERIENCED MECHANIC - HEAVY VEHICLES AND HYDRAULICS --------------------------------------------------------------- Your mission ----------------- In collaboration with the workshop manager and logistics, you contribute to the reliability, safety, and availability of our fleet. Your activity combines approximately 75% workshop work and 25% technical management: research and purchase of parts, supply with logistics, and vehicle monitoring. Your main responsibilities ------------------------------------ Maintenance, diagnosis and mechanical repairs * Ensure the maintenance, diagnosis and mechanical repairs of heavy vehicles, utility vehicles and specialized equipment. * Identify the causes of breakdowns, analyze malfunctions, propose sustainable solutions and take appropriate initiatives in their field of competence. Hydraulics * Diagnose, maintain and repair hydraulic installations and components: pumps, motors, cylinders, distributors, hoses and circuits. * Analyze complex or recurring failures and participate in the search for lasting corrective solutions. Preventive maintenance and fleet monitoring * Contribute to preventive maintenance, anticipate intervention needs and report recurring malfunctions. * Update the technical monitoring of vehicles and equipment: interventions, maintenance history, costs, deadlines and downtime. Spare parts and procurement * Identify the necessary parts, search for references and compare available technical solutions. * Participate in the purchase and procurement of parts in collaboration with the logistics department. Coordination and continuous improvement * Collaborate with the workshop manager, logistics, drivers and operational teams in order to resolve problems encountered and limit downtime. * Explain the diagnoses carried out, share useful knowledge and contribute to the improvement of maintenance practices and the functioning of the garage. Your profile ---------------- Formation * Training in heavy vehicle mechanics, agricultural machinery, construction machinery or training deemed equivalent Experience * Minimum 3 years of practical experience in mechanics, with proven skills in diagnosis and repair of hydraulic systems (indispensable). * Experience in resolving complex technical breakdowns; knowledge of the Swiss professional environment appreciated. Technical skills * Mastery of heavy vehicle mechanics and hydraulic systems, with a rigorous diagnostic approach. * Ease with IT tools, parts catalogs and vehicle technical monitoring tools. * Sense of organization, autonomy, anticipation of needs and ability to prioritize. * Good command of French, both oral and written, allowing for the understanding of technical documentation, filling in intervention monitoring and communicating precisely with various interlocutors. * Driving license B mandatory; heavy vehicle license C or C1 an asset.
