Job Description

Your new challenge:

• Independently carry out service and repair orders on venetian blinds, roller shutters, awnings, and other shading systems.
• Dismantle, install, and replace existing systems.
• Replace worn parts such as gears, cranks, straps, and bearings as well as awning fabrics.
• Retrofit and replace drives within the scope of professional authority.
• Identify malfunctions and assess whether a repair or replacement is sensible.
• Record measurements and technical data for offers and material orders.
• Advise customers on-site in a friendly and competent manner.
• Fully digitally report work, working hours, and material consumption.
• Handle the service vehicle, tools, and material with care.

Requirement Profile

What you bring:

• Completed training as a blind fitter EFZ or corresponding training in sun and weather protection; ideally with experience in service and repair.
• Alternatively for retraining: professional background in metal construction or a comparable technical craft profession, with sound practical specialist knowledge and installation experience.
• Technical understanding and willingness to familiarize yourself with new products and work processes.
• Ability to work independently and reliably after appropriate induction.
• Driving license category B.
• Good German skills for customer conversations and written reports as well as understanding of Swiss German.
• Neat appearance, good manners, and enjoyment of customer contact.
• Clean, solution-oriented way of working, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
• Confident handling of ladders and safe working at heights.
