To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed personality as a Vehicle Mechanic in the steelworks (m/f/d) at a 100% workload, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on vehicles
• Co-responsibility for the functioning of the diverse vehicles from passenger cars to forklifts, wheel loaders, up to 100-ton heavy special vehicles
• Execution of preventive maintenance work and repairs: vehicle technology, vehicle electricals, mobile hydraulics
• Planning and participation in the annual overhaul (CW 31-33) and on maintenance workdays

Your profile

• Completed basic mechanical training as a commercial vehicle, agricultural machinery, or construction machinery mechanic
• Proven specialist knowledge as well as several years of practical experience
• Experience in the field of hydraulics as well as welding skills are an advantage
• Flexible personality with enjoyment of technical challenges as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility
• Independent and proactive way of working, high teamwork skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
