To strengthen the service team, we are looking for an experienced machine tool service technician specializing in OKUMA. You will autonomously take charge of repairs, maintenance, and commissioning at customer sites throughout Switzerland, while being able to rely on the support of experienced colleagues.

Your tasks ####

• Installation and commissioning of CNC machine tools at the customer site
• Autonomous execution of repairs, maintenance work and upkeep
• Systematic diagnosis of faults and reliable resolution of malfunctions
• Training and instruction of customers on the use and maintenance of their machines
• Technical assistance and advice to customers on-site and by telephone
• Close collaboration with technical support and the spare parts service

Your profile ####

• Completed basic technical training as a polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician or equivalent
• Experience as a service technician, ideally in the field of machine tools
• Very good mechanical knowledge and good electrical understanding for fault diagnosis
• Knowledge of CNC controls
• Autonomous, careful work and patience necessary to identify even complex faults
• Very good knowledge of German or French, proficiency in English is an asset
