For our customer in the Basel-Land region, we are looking for a:

CNC Miller / CAM Specialist with Workshop Responsibility (m/f/d)

You benefit from:

• Independent work with a lot of personal responsibility
• Scope for design in the further development of the workshop and manufacturing processes
• Technical responsibility for a small team of 1–2 employees
• Processing of different materials such as metal, plastic, and wood

What awaits you:

• Preparation of digital contours and determination of tool paths and machining parameters
• Secure workpiece clamping and quality control of the manufactured parts
• Planning and prioritization of manufacturing orders while meeting deadlines
• Technical guidance of the employees and passing on your manufacturing knowledge
• Establishment of clear workshop structures, improvement of existing processes and documentation of manufacturing steps
• Active participation in general workshop and assembly work

What distinguishes you:

• Several years of practical CNC milling experience and already independently applied CAM knowledge – pure machine operation or manual CNC programming are not sufficient
• Profound knowledge in tool selection, machining parameters and clamping technology; vacuum clamping is an advantage
• Confident handling of technical programs; knowledge of VisualMILL is welcome, but not a requirement
• Joy in rolling up your sleeves, leading a small team and further developing processes that are not yet fully regulated
• Down-to-earth, assertive personality with initiative, patience and a structured way of working
• Very good German skills
