This objective is achieved through internal R&D activities in various fields and collaboration with external universities and research institutes.

For our CDNP division, we are looking for a Mechanic-Prototyper to support all divisions of The Swatch Group Research and Development Ltd.

Job description ##

• CNC programming according to technical drawings and production instructions
• Machining of watch casing components (cases, bracelets, microtechnical elements) in single pieces or small series
• Design and manufacture of tooling necessary for the realization of prototypes
• Technical support for development
• Guarantee of dimensional and aesthetic conformity of parts according to drawings and finishing requirements
• Intervention on all types of materials, including precious metals
• First-level maintenance of the machine park and maintenance of a clean workstation
• Proficiency in the Windows environment desired
• Work in a confidential environment (prototype development)

Profile ##

• CFC in micromachining or polymechanic, or a title deemed equivalent
• Proven experience in CNC programming (mastery of GibbsCAM is an asset), as well as in the setup of turning and milling CNC machines
• Good knowledge of watch products, particularly in the field of casing
