Your tasks

In this position, you will take over the technical and personnel leadership of the team within welding production and ensure that quality, deadlines, and efficiency are correct in daily production operations. You plan and coordinate resources, keep an eye on capacities, and together with your employees, create the prerequisites for smooth processes. In doing so, you are close to practical application, promote and develop your team, and actively drive the continuous improvement of processes. In close cooperation with adjacent specialist departments, you solve technical and organizational challenges and ensure compliance with defined quality and manufacturing standards. You also contribute your specialist knowledge in a targeted manner to the procurement of materials, machines, and operating resources.

Your profile

• Technical basic training in the field of metal, plant/apparatus construction, or comparable
• Sound further training or specialist knowledge in welding technology
• Several years of practical experience with common welding processes, ideally in the thin sheet metal area
• Experience in the leadership and development of employees
• Knowledge of automated or robot-assisted welding processes is an advantage
• High awareness of quality, costs, and deadlines
• Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• Organizational talent and the ability to maintain an overview even with several ongoing topics
• Communicative and solution-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
• Enjoyment in continuously developing your team, processes, and technologies
