Tasks ##

• In this function, you are responsible for assembly and insulation work on our rails, tram switches, junctions, rail extraction devices, and rail lubrication systems.
• Additionally, you carry out maintenance work on the insulation for railway technology systems, e.g., track construction sites.
• You develop demanding, technical, and logistical problem solutions for loading semi-trailers for the special transport of track systems to the respective track construction sites.
• You operate our special machines: various crane systems, forklifts Cat. R1, walkie-stackers, welding equipment, rail bending machines, and rail band saws.
• You communicate with the foreman, site manager, or construction manager regarding the execution of the assembly and insulation work.
• You are ready for sporadic special assignments, e.g., at track construction sites in the city in all types of weather; occasionally, weekend and night shifts also take place.
• Furthermore, you record the data for working time, spare parts, orders, and material reservations in SAP.
• We count on your support in the winter service standby duty, which takes place rarely and in rotation with team colleagues.

Profile ##

• You have completed vocational training in the metal industry; additionally, ideally, you can perform MAG welding.
• You are flexible and ready for action, resilient, and physically very fit - we sometimes have irregular working hours.
• Driver's license category B is mandatory. If you can operate the forklift Cat. R1 and indoor cranes, that would be a plus.
• You enjoy working in a team, are independent, reliable, and act with personal responsibility.
• You bring a sense of responsibility and the ability to concentrate even during sometimes monotonous work.
• Your German is at least at level B2.

In these cases, starting salaries slightly below or above this range are also possible.
