For our customer, an SME with a warehouse in Pratteln, we are looking for a construction machinery mechanic (100%, permanent or temporary) by arrangement.

Job Description

• Maintenance, upkeep, and repair of construction machinery and construction equipment
• Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Performance of service work and regular functional checks
• Repair and replacement of engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, and other machine parts
• Performance of testing and adjustment work
• Preparation of machines for use as well as checking operational safety
• Documentation of the work performed and creation of service reports
• Ordering and management of spare parts
• Support during the commissioning and handover of construction machinery
• Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Required Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Baumaschinenmechaniker EFZ or a comparable technical training
• Good knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of construction machinery
• Technical understanding and pronounced manual dexterity
• Independent, reliable, and careful way of working
• Ability for systematic troubleshooting and problem solving
• Teamwork ability, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
• Good German skills
• Driver's license category B; other categories an advantage
