Polymechanic / Set-up Technician 100% (m/f/d)

For our plant in Biel-Benken, we are looking for a committed, technically skilled, and responsible personality as a Polymechanic / Set-up Technician. In this role, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing our production systems and make a significant contribution to a smooth production process. In addition, you will support the production manager and take over their deputy duties in their absence.

The focus of our production is on the manufacture of capsules, tablets, powder mixtures, and liquids, as well as their packaging into end products (blisters, cans, bottles, and bulk).

Your main tasks
-Setting up, converting, and operating production and packaging systems
-Ensuring a trouble-free production process as well as rectifying technical malfunctions
-Carrying out maintenance and repair work within the scope of plant responsibility
-Active participation in the manufacture and packaging of our products
-Monitoring production processes with regard to quality, safety, and efficiency
-Carrying out and documenting in-process controls (IPC)
-Supporting technical optimizations and continuous improvement processes
-Assisting in the organization and coordination of daily production processes
-Supporting the production manager as well as taking over deputy tasks in their absence
-Ensuring compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and hygiene regulations

Your profile
-Completed training as a Polymechanic, Production Mechanic, Plant Operator, or comparable technical training
-Several years of experience in setting up and operating production systems, preferably in the pharma, food, or chemical industry
-Strong technical understanding as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working
-Experience in error analysis and troubleshooting on machines and systems
-Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
-Responsible, reliable, and team-oriented personality
-Initial leadership experience is an advantage or willingness to take on additional responsibility
-Very good German skills in speaking and writing
