Industrial Painter / Wet Painter 100% (m/f/d)

For our client, a well-known company in the Schaffhausen (SH) region, we are looking for a motivated and reliable personality as an Industrial Painter / Wet Painter, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks:

• Surface preparation: Professional cleaning, degreasing, sanding, filling, and masking/covering of housings, profiles, and mechanical assemblies (especially aluminum and steel).
• Wet painting & coating: Precise application of primers, single-layer and multi-layer lacquers (wet paint / powder coating) using modern spray guns/suction guns according to customer specifications.
• Color mixing & setup: Exact adjustment of viscosity, mixing of color tones (RAL, NCS, or special colors), and preparation of the painting systems.
• Quality & coating thickness control: Checking surface quality, color fidelity, and coating thicknesses, as well as continuous visual inspection for inclusions or runs.
• Equipment care & maintenance: Regular cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of spray tools, filters, and spray booths in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Training & practice: Completed vocational training as an Industrial Painter EFZ, Car Painter EFZ, Bodywork Painter EFZ, or several years of demonstrable experience in industrial wet painting.
• Material & technical knowledge: Confident handling of various 1K/2K lacquer systems as well as sound knowledge of substrates (aluminum die casting, sheet metal, and profile technology).
• Precision & quality standards: A trained eye for flawless surfaces, high concentration ability, and a clean, structured way of working.
• Technical understanding: Routine in reading specifications, work instructions, and coating thickness requirements.
• Personality: Reliable, conscientious team player with an independent way of working and physical resilience (working with protective equipment/mask).
• Language skills: Good German skills in speaking and writing for error-free implementation of work orders and safety data sheets.
