The Human Resources Service of the Ville d’Yverdon-les-Bains is recruiting, for the Mobility, Environment and Sustainability Service, a:

Apprentice horticulturist in plant production

for the August 2027 intake

Main tasks you will be trained in:

• Production of annuals, biennials, perennials, flowering plants, green plants and cut flowers;
• Various tasks specific to the profession, such as: multiplication, transplanting, potting, planting out, staking, pinching and pruning, chemical and biological phytosanitary protection as well as various irrigation systems;
• Outdoor and indoor maintenance, planting, floral decorations and bouquets.

Your profile:

• You have completed the necessary steps in choosing your future profession and have decided to join the business world.
• You demonstrate a desire to learn, communication skills and team spirit.
• Benefiting from good physical condition, you are motivated to work both under shelters or greenhouses during winter, and outdoors during the beautiful season.
