Die Maker Mechanic (M/F)

Workplace: Le Noirmont (JU)

Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop, the Die Maker Mechanic is responsible for the manufacture, development, and maintenance of stamping tools. He/she also provides support for their design, in relation with the Technical Office.

Your main missions will be as follows:

Manufacture of dies:

You will be in charge of the manufacture of cold stamping tools, the development of tooling, and their adjustment to validate the conformity of the requested parts (dimensional and aesthetic). You will write and share the procedure associated with this manufacture.

You will work daily in a workshop comprising machine tools, wire EDM and sinker EDM machines, presses, and CNC machining machines.

You will be in charge of the maintenance of the manufactured tooling and in support of the Etampage Boîtes production workshop.

Support in the preparation of the technical file for the dies:

Based on the volumes from the industrialization department, you will produce the tooling, and share developments and modifications of the tooling with industrialization.

Participate in product improvement:

You will be a permanent source of proposals for the optimization of tooling (in order to improve the lifespan of the tools as well as to perfect the processes and product requirements).

You will participate in the capitalization of internal know-how in die design as well as in technological monitoring of the field of activity.

You will respect the current EHS standards.

Your profile:

You possess a CFC Mechanic training (or equivalent) as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in the production of stamping tooling.

You master machine tool programming and have knowledge in CAD and simulation (Coldform).

You master common IT tools (Powerpoint, Excel...).

You are recognized for your rigor and applied working methods. You have a team spirit and the ability to collaborate/communicate effectively within a group.
