Seamstress M/F - Watchmaking

Your mission

We are looking for a seamstress passionate about precision, detail, and craftsmanship to join the watchmaking sector. If you have developed a strong capacity for attention to detail, a taste for meticulous work, and wish to career change into this prestigious field, this offer is made for you! In this role, you will be trained in the art of watchmaking while leveraging your acquired skills in the field of sewing, notably precision and meticulousness, to accomplish tasks demanding rigor and expertise. Main missions: Assembly of delicate parts and fine adjustments: As in sewing, where every detail counts, you will be responsible for the assembly of watchmaking components with precision comparable to the finest seams. You will have to demonstrate meticulousness in the assembly of small parts, following detailed technical plans. Quality control of finished products: Just as in sewing, where the quality of the final product is essential, you will be in charge of checking the quality and functionality of watchmaking parts, ensuring that they meet the strictest standards. Use of specialized and meticulous tools: In this role, you will use high-precision instruments, similar to those you use for sewing, but adapted to watchmaking, to perform the necessary settings and adjustments on watchmaking components. Maintenance and upkeep of work equipment: As in sewing, the maintenance of tools is essential to maintain a constant level of quality. You will have to ensure the proper maintenance of your tools and your workspace, respecting the hygiene and safety standards specific to watchmaking. Monitoring and management of parts during their manufacture: Much like the management of fabrics and accessories in sewing, you will be responsible for monitoring each watchmaking part throughout its manufacturing process, from assembly to finishing.

Your profile

You have training as a seamstress or in a similar field. You have a keen sense of detail, rigor, and precision. You are motivated to career change into watchmaking and are ready to undergo internal training. You possess excellent organizational and autonomy skills. You are capable of working in a team while maintaining clear and effective communication. Proficiency in French is necessary.
