Gardener Horticulture and Landscaping, 80-100 %

Good green spaces do not create themselves. They need people like you who understand their craft.

In the Wipkingen team in the Bezirk Nord 2 (Region Zürich Nord), you will apply your horticultural expertise, maintain and further develop green spaces, and thus make Zürich a little greener every day. We are looking for a gardener starting 1. Januar 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You maintain and care for green spaces independently and professionally. This includes planting and sowing work, pruning work, plant nutrition, plant protection, and plant use
• You implement smaller gardening and landscaping tasks and further develop existing green spaces
• You work with various machines, devices, and tools and ensure that they, as well as the associated infrastructure, are maintained, kept in good repair, and clean
• You support in the guidance and accompaniment of apprentices and trained employees
• You help in the guidance and accompaniment of apprentices and/or trained employees

Profile ##

• You have completed training as a Gärtner*in EFZ, specialty Horticulture and Landscaping
• You bring experience in green space maintenance, good plant knowledge, and confidence in handling various machines and devices
• You work independently and reliably, preferably in a team, and understand your work as a service for the people in Zürich
• A driving license of category B is a requirement, additionally you bring MS-Office skills
