FIELD OF ACTIVITY

The job holder sets up CNC short-turning and long-turning machines, monitors the production of precision parts, performs quality controls, and ensures a smooth production process including simple maintenance and optimization work, covering the following range of tasks:

• Providing tools, control instruments, and fixtures according to instructions; setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC short-turning and/or long-turning machines
• Performing tool changes and corrections as well as troubleshooting
• Cleaning machines and performing simple maintenance work
• Assisting in the creation and optimization of simple NC and CNC programs within projects
• Processing work orders according to QS guidelines and work documents
• Self-, first-piece, and counter-checks
• Correct and complete filling out of production documents according to GDP
• Processing orders according to instructions from the supervisor
• Reporting deviations from specified times
• Knowing and following guidelines regarding code of conduct, ethics and compliance programs as well as other relevant regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed technical or mechanical training
• At least 1-2 years of practical experience or higher school education without formal training, but several years of experience and additional training courses
• Experience on CNC machines (short-turning and/or long-turning)
• Experience in industrial production, preferably in medical technology or precision industry
• Confident handling of technical drawings, work instructions, and testing documents
• Knowledge in handling measuring and testing instruments as well as in performing quality inspections
• Good PC user skills
• Economical as well as qualitatively flawless and punctual production of products according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in 2-shift operation
• High quality standards as well as a strong sense of responsibility
