Micromecanic (Die / mold) CFC (M/F)

Job description

The apprentice micromecanic will participate in the manufacture, machining, and assembly of very small components intended for the fields of microtechnology, watchmaking, precision mechanics, or medical.
Supervised by professionals, you will learn to use conventional and CNC machines, to control the quality of the produced parts, and to respect extremely fine tolerances.

Main missions

• Precision machining -- learning traditional and CNC machining techniques (turning, milling, drilling, grinding, electrical discharge machining)
• Manufacture of micro-parts -- production of components according to technical plans and strict dimensional requirements
• Assembly and mounting -- assembly of mechanical sub-assemblies, handling of delicate parts and use of precision tools
• Quality control -- verification of dimensions, surface states and compliance using measuring instruments (micrometer, profile projector, comparator)
• Reading plans -- interpretation of technical drawings, understanding of tolerances and specifications
• Basic maintenance -- routine maintenance of machines and the workstation
