Toolmaker / Polymechanic Tool Maintenance (80-100%)

In a well-coordinated team, you ensure that the demanding injection molding tools are available for production reliably, on schedule, and in the required quality. In doing so, you can specifically apply your expertise and manual skills.

Your area of responsibility includes:
Assembly and disassembly of injection molding tools
Analysis of tools as well as independent assessment of necessary repair and maintenance work
Cleaning, repair, correction, and optimization of injection molding tools
Manufacture of mold inserts, individual components, as well as spare and wear parts for existing and new tools
Implementation of technical changes and modifications
Execution of precise work in the thousandth of a millimeter range
Execution of conventional machining work such as drilling, milling, turning, and surface grinding as well as laser welding
Technical cooperation in projects for process optimization and further development
Ensuring part quality as well as assessing the production capability of the tools
Compliance with deadlines as well as early reporting of deviations and irregularities

What you bring with you
Completed training as Werkzeugmacher/in EFZ or Polymechaniker/in EFZ
Several years of professional experience in mold or tool making
Experience in the plastics sector is an advantage
Manual dexterity and enjoyment of precise work
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
Strong quality awareness and sense of responsibility
Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and flexibility
Good decision-making ability and the willingness to take on responsibility
Very good German and/or French skills as well as good knowledge of the respective other language; English skills are an advantage
