For one of our established partners in Valais, we are looking for a sanitary installer.

Job Description

From new builds to renovation, from planning to commissioning, you cover the entire cycle of a sanitary installation.

Planning & organization

• Study architect or technical office plans, define needs and calculate dimensions
• Evaluate material quantities, set deadlines and establish assembly plans
• Organize the supply, transport and storage of material on site

Pipe laying

• Prefabricate and install water and gas supply networks, as well as wastewater evacuation conduits
• Cut, connect, weld and fix pipes in walls, floors and ceilings
• Connect the installation to the public network, carry out tightness tests and record results
• Insulate pipes against noise, condensation and fire
• Commission, check and adjust pressure

Assembly & installation

• Install washbasins, showers, bathtubs, WC, water heaters, softeners and faucets
• Install solar thermal or photovoltaic installations and ventilation systems
• Ensure final control and write site reports

Maintenance & troubleshooting

• Locate and repair leaks, unblock, descale, replace seals, filters and defective appliances
• Intervene quickly at customers' premises as part of maintenance contracts
• Ensure maintenance of tools and machines, sort and dispose of waste according to current standards

Profile sought

• CFC as a sanitary installer
• Solid experience on construction sites in Switzerland, ideally in Valais
• Comfortable with both new builds and renovation and troubleshooting
• Capable of reading technical plans and working autonomously
• Available and reactive — the sector does not always warn before breaking down
• Good team spirit: you regularly coordinate with masons, heating engineers, tilers and electricians
