Site Manager – Structural Works

mexem SA is involved in the construction management of a major industrial project currently under construction in Bulle.

In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Site Manager specialized in structural works to ensure daily monitoring of execution, in collaboration with the Construction Director and other site managers.

Your mission

You ensure the proper completion of the structural works within your scope, in compliance with quality, cost, and deadline requirements.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure daily monitoring of works and coordinate the companies operating within your scope.
• Monitor work progress, anticipate difficulties, and propose solutions in connection with the Construction Director.
• Ensure the quality of the work and compliance with plans, applicable standards, and professional best practices.
• Monitor costs, planning, and any modifications to the works.
• Collaborate with other site managers to ensure the coordination of interfaces between lots.
• Ensure regular communication with companies, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of working methods and processes on the construction site.

Your profile

• ES technician diploma in construction management or equivalent training.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in construction management, including at least 2 years in Switzerland, with practice in structural works on complex projects.
• Experience in taking environmental issues into account on site is an asset.
• Sense of responsibility, organization, and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to anticipate difficulties and take initiative within your scope.
• Rigor, sense of quality, and search for concrete solutions.
• Ease in communication and team spirit.
• Good command of French.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools and practice with a collaborative construction site platform, ideally Dalux.
