Apprentice Sanitary Designer (M/F) at 100 %

As an apprentice Building Technology Designer, specializing in sanitary, you will learn to design the sanitary installations that allow buildings to be supplied with drinking water and to evacuate wastewater.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study building plans and understand the needs of future users.
• Draw sanitary installations using specialized computer software (CAD).
• Design pipe networks for the supply of drinking water and the evacuation of wastewater and rainwater.
• Calculate the dimensions of the installations, notably the pipe diameters and the necessary flow rates.
• Choose suitable sanitary equipment, such as washbasins, showers, bathtubs, taps and water heaters.
• Produce technical plans and diagrams intended for installers on construction sites.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals to coordinate installations in buildings.
• Establish material lists and participate in the estimation of installation costs.
• Respect standards and safety rules, notably regarding hygiene, environment, soundproofing and fire protection.
• Follow projects and participate in controls to ensure that the installations correspond to the plans and technical requirements.
• Throughout the training, you will develop your technical skills, your precision, your sense of organization and your team spirit.
