Plasterboard Foreman (M/F)

Romande Peinture SA is looking for an experienced, autonomous, and versatile plasterboard foreman (M/F), possessing strong technical and organizational skills to ensure the preparation, management, and monitoring of plastering and dry construction work on various construction sites in the Travers region and its surroundings.

Profile sought:

• Proven experience in the field of plastering and dry construction.
• Excellent mastery of reading and interpreting technical plans.
• Ability to analyze tender documents and prepare offers.
• Experience in processing calls for tender, establishing tenders, and calculating quantities.
• Good mastery of cost calculation, measurements, and estimation of material and labor needs.
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate several construction sites.
• Aptitude to supervise teams and oversee work.
• Good knowledge of plastering techniques, installation of plasterboards, partitions, linings, and suspended ceilings.
• Ability to ensure the administrative and technical follow-up of construction sites.
• Rigorous, organized, autonomous person with an excellent sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, architects, construction managers, and other stakeholders.
• Mastery of safety rules and quality requirements on construction sites.
• Higher professional training in the field or an equivalent qualification is an asset.

Main tasks:

• Reading, analysis, and interpretation of plans and technical documents.
• Analysis of calls for tender and preparation of tender documents.
• Establishment of offers, calculation of measurements, quantities, costs, and labor needs.
• Preparation of estimates and estimation of work costs.
• Planning, organization, and coordination of plastering and dry construction work.
• Management and monitoring of construction sites, from start to work acceptance.
• Supervision of personnel and distribution of tasks.
• Monitoring of deadlines, budgets, and quality of work.
• Coordination with architects, construction managers, clients, and other trades.
• Management of material orders and monitoring of site needs.
• Control of work progress and resolution of technical problems.
• Participation in site meetings and monitoring of site reports.
• Execution and supervision of general plastering work, smoothing, plasterboard partitions (Placoplatre), plaster block partitions (Alba), and suspended ceilings.
• Participation in renovation, transformation, and new construction work.
