Profile sought:
CFC in micromachining, precision mechanics or polymechanics, or training deemed equivalent
Confirmed experience (5 years minimum) in die manufacturing and adjustment, ideally in watchmaking or micromachinery
Mastery of conventional machines and manual adjustment, sharpening and finishing techniques
Good understanding of stamping and cutting of aesthetic parts; experience in production on progressive dies is an asset
Ease in reading plans and dimensional control; comfortable with IT tools
Rigor, precision and autonomy, with a real sense of organization
Team spirit, solution orientation and taste for transmitting skills Main responsibilities :
Adjust and assemble components of stamping and cutting tools
Perform finishing operations (chamfering, polishing, possible treatments)
Carry out tests on presses, analyze results, identify deviations and adjust tools until a stable configuration conforming to internal requirements is reached
Guarantee the geometry, durability, performance and reproducibility of the dies
Perform dimensional and aesthetic controls according to internal standards and ensure their traceability
Provide technical support to production workshops
Propose improvements to extend tool life, reduce scrap and reliable the stamping and cutting processes
Accompany and train apprentices and less experienced employees, document and formalize know-how related to die making
