Your contribution

• Perform functional checks and eliminate any faults in the electrical and electronic systems of all armored systems
• Perform system checks as well as maintenance and maintaining the efficiency of cable installations of tracked vehicles and wheeled armored vehicles
• Check and repair fire control systems and replace individual modules
• Perform maintenance and checks of optical and aiming devices as well as their adjustment
• Manage in SAP data concerning maintenance tasks, repairs and periodic services relating to the Fire Control sector and electrical systems of tanks
• Provide technical support at firing ranges and external weapons ranges in eastern Switzerland for a maximum of 10 weeks per year

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training in the electrical or mechanical field (e.g., automotive mechatronics technician)
• Several years of professional experience and good knowledge in the field of maintenance and/or tracked vehicles
• Driving license for category B (driving licenses for categories C and C1E and the forklift license recognized by SUVA are an advantage)
• Customer orientation in providing consulting services to third parties
• Rapid and structured way of working with the ability to set priorities autonomously

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army.
