Job description

Job description – your assignment in installation
As a metal construction assistant or female assistant fitter, you support experienced specialists during installation. If you already have installation experience, you will take on more advanced tasks according to your knowledge.

Your activities include:

• Assisting in the installation of facades and facade elements
• Installing metal construction and aluminum components
• Preparing and installing substructures
• Carrying, positioning, and aligning components
• Fastening and screwing facade and metal elements
• Assisting in the installation of windows, doors, and metal structures
• Working on aerial work platforms, scaffolding, and ladders
• Providing tools and installation material
• Unloading and distributing components on the construction site
• General assistant and installation work in a team
• Compliance with safety regulations

Working region: Canton of Lucerne and adjacent cantons of Central Switzerland.
Workload: 100 %, Monday to Friday.
Assignment duration: One week to several months – depending on the project and your availability.

Requirement profile

We expect – manual dexterity and commitment

• You have manual dexterity and enjoy practical work
• Ideally, you bring experience in metal construction, facade construction, window construction, or in installation
• Career changers with practical experience and willingness to learn are also welcome
• You are physically resilient and enjoy working outdoors
• You are not afraid of heights and are fit for working at heights
• You have good German language skills and understand work and safety instructions
• You already live permanently in the Central Switzerland region. You are reliable, punctual, and enjoy working in a team
• Driver's license and own car are an advantage
