Truck Mechanic 80 - 100 %

As a Truck Mechanic (80-100-%), you ensure that our truck fleet is on the road reliably, safely, and efficiently. Tasks

• Maintenance, service, and repairs on trucks, bodies, and trailers (engine, gearbox, drive, axles, brakes, air suspension)
• Fault diagnosis on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems (incl. ABS/EBS) with diagnostic tools
• Testing, adjusting, and repairing braking systems, clutch, steering, and chassis
• Electrical work: lighting, wiring, replacing/parameterizing control units
• Preparation for MFK (Motorfahrzeugkontrolle), documenting exhaust maintenance and periodic inspections
• Body and hydraulic service (tippers, cranes, tail lifts) incl. seals, lines, and valves
• On-call/breakdown service as required as well as clarifications with dispatch, suppliers, and inspection bodies
• Consistent adherence to safety and quality specifications (SUVA), order & cleanliness in the workshop

Profile

• Completed training as Automobil-Mechatroniker:in EFZ or Automobil-Fachmann/-frau EFZ specialization commercial vehicles - or several years of experience as a Truck Mechanic
• Sound practical experience in service, maintenance, and repairs of commercial vehicles (incl. diagnosis)
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working; strong team and communication skills
• German in speaking and writing; other languages an advantage
• Driver's license Kat. B, Kat. C an advantage; forklift/crane certificates a plus
• High safety orientation, careful and efficient way of working; willingness for on-call/breakdown service
