The Zweckverband VSFM is responsible for the wastewater treatment of the municipalities of Volketswil, Schwerzenbach, Fällanden and Maur and is expanding the plant in the coming years to be future-oriented for 90’000 population equivalents and to the latest technical state of the art. Electrical Installer EFZ as

Wastewater Treatment Plant Specialist (100% workload)

The area of work includes the following tasks:

• You control, optimize and monitor the operation of the wastewater treatment plant
• You are co-responsible for the maintenance / operation of the electrotechnical infrastructure
• You perform rounds and functional checks on the plant
• You carry out the laboratory analyses of the water according to the water protection law requirements
• You perform alternating on-call and weekend service (within 30 minutes at the place of operation)

Ideally, you bring the following requirements:

• Vocational training (EFZ) as Electrical Installer, Electrical Fitter, Mechanic, Sanitary Installer with some years of professional experience
• Further training as Wastewater Treatment Plant Specialist with a federal certificate of proficiency or the willingness to complete this training
• Good IT user skills, German language skills in spoken and written
• Flexibility, commitment and initiative
• Driver's license for driving passenger cars (Category B)
