PrewaPlast AG has been developing and manufacturing high-quality, technically demanding components in plastic injection molding for over 80 years. For our experienced team, we are looking for a committed personality for the repair, maintenance, and optimization of our injection molding tools.

Production Mechanic Automation & Periphery 80 - 100% (a)

The focus of this function lies on the support, optimization, and further development of our automation and periphery systems. You are the first point of contact for assembly, packaging, welding, and post-processing systems and support our plastics technologists with production processes.

Your tasks

• Support and ensure the availability of our periphery and automation systems
• Setting up, operating, and optimizing assembly systems, packaging systems, and welding systems
• Support of pad printing, hot stamping, and other post-processing systems
• Assistance in the commissioning of new systems and automation solutions
• Troubleshooting and performing repairs
• Planning and executing maintenance work on production and periphery systems
• Supporting the plastics technologists with injection molding machines and handheld devices
• Construction and further development of assembly aids and automation concepts
• Active participation in technical projects and investments

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training as a production mechanic, polymechanic, plastics technologist, automation technician, or comparable training
• Experience with automation systems, periphery devices, and industrial production processes
• Knowledge in operating injection molding machines, ideally also in setting them up
• Technical understanding in the areas of mechanics, pneumatics, and automation
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team, quality awareness, and initiative
