Metalworker EFZ 90-100 %

Introduction

Are you a trained Metalworker EFZ and want to prove your manual skills in diverse projects? For a traditional and future-oriented metal construction company in the Thun region, we are looking for one to two reliable specialists starting from January 2027.

A versatile working environment with exciting metal and steel construction projects awaits you. You will work both in the modernly equipped workshop and on assembly sites, mainly in the Berner Oberland. The assignment is planned long-term and offers you the possibility of later permanent employment if there is mutual suitability.

Tasks

• Production and processing of metal and steel constructions
• Performing welding work
• Independent work according to technical plans and drawings
• Assembly of various metal components in the workshop
• Professional assembly of constructions, railings, stairs, doors, and other metal construction elements
• Carrying out quality controls on the manufactured components
• Collaboration on diverse and demanding customer projects
• Compliance with applicable safety and quality specifications

Profile

• Completed Swiss vocational training as Metalworker EFZ is mandatory
• Several years or sound professional experience in metal and steel construction
• Experience in the workshop and on assembly
• Good welding knowledge
• Confident reading and implementing technical plans
• Independent, precise, and clean way of working
• Good German language skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and responsible personality
• Driver's license category B
• Residence ideally in the Thun region or in the Berner Oberland
