Vehicle Mechanic

Our rail vehicles are packed with modern technology paired with proven pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical parts. In this combination, the vehicles are comfortable and reliable workhorses in the service of our customers. And you, as part of a well-coordinated maintenance team, are an important link in the transport chain. ###

What awaits you:

• Perform and document demanding overhauls, repairs and modifications on thermal infrastructure vehicles
• Carry out maintenance work and undertake mobile assignments
• Perform analysis, diagnosis and testing tasks
• Participate in work assignments at other BLS locations and provide on-call service

What you bring with you:

• Completed mechanical-technical training, for example as an agricultural machinery, construction machinery or commercial vehicle mechanic
• Good mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge, electrical knowledge is an advantage
• Independent, exact and reliable way of working as well as the desire to undergo regular further training and are physically fit
• Good knowledge of the German language
• Driver's license category B
