Die Stiftung Maihof Zug accompanies people with disabilities and supports them in developing their skills and living as self-determinedly as possible. At five locations in the Canton of Zug, we offer around 80 adults assisted living and a daily structure.

To reinforce our 5-member Technical Services team, we are looking for a reliable and craft-skilled personality who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thinking ahead, and working independently. You will take responsibility for the technical maintenance at one of our locations and flexibly support the team at other locations if required.

Tasks

• Independently carry out maintenance, repair, and upkeep work on systems (heating, ventilation, sanitary)
• Maintenance, care, and use of the vehicle fleet
• Coordination and supervision of external craft companies and service providers
• Care and maintenance of the surroundings and the animal stables
• Transport between our locations as well as to external customers
• Conducting training for employees (fire protection, vehicle safety, and other safety-relevant topics)
• Participation in the practical training and support of our apprentices
• Participation in winter services
• On-call duties outside of normal working hours (24h and weekends)

What you bring with you

• Completed basic vocational training EFZ, for example in the areas of sanitary, heating, electrical, timber construction, building technology, or facility management
• Broad manual and technical understanding
• Reliable and uncomplicated personality with enjoyment of working in a team
• Friendly and respectful interaction with people with disabilities and employees
• Good German language skills and confident use of MS-Office
• Driver's license Cat. B, trailer test present or willingness to acquire it
• Willingness for on-call duties and place of residence at most 30 minutes driving distance from Menzingen
