Your challenge:

• Technical leadership of the welding shop within the shift
• Performing welding and metalwork on rail vehicles
• Ensuring quality and standard specifications
• Reading technical drawings and implementing welding instructions
• Responsibility for the work of the shift team
• Carrying out non-destructive testing
• Completing the required welding tests
• Supporting adjacent departments as needed
• Collaborating on the optimization of processes and operating resources

What you bring with you:

• Experience in MAG, MIG, and TIG welding
• EFZ as plant and apparatus builder, metalworker, or vehicle locksmith
• Further training as an IWS welding specialist
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the welding sector
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings reliably
• Good German skills (level B2--C1)
• Willingness for 2-shift operation
• Reliable and independent way of working
• Good state of health
